Thank you to all my family, friends and supporters for making the victory possible. I could not have done it without you!
As a lifetime resident of Beverly, it is with great pride that I announce my candidacy for State Representative of my hometown. From my roots growing up in a working class family with 4 siblings, to raising my own family here today with my wife Lisa, stepson Chris and daughter Sophia, I am committed to the city and the well-being of its citizens.
I got my first job at age 10, delivering newspapers around the neighborhood and have been working hard ever since. Through my high school years, I worked after high school as a construction laborer to save money to put myself through college, and eventually law school. I joined the Army Reserves in 1994, and still proudly serve today. My strong roots in the city of Beverly inspired me to get more involved by volunteering for various community groups and programs over the years.
These combined experiences provided me with invaluable, practical knowledge that will be essential for the position I seek as your State Representative. I vow to bring my strong work ethic to Beacon Hill to fight every day to promote economic growth, support our public schools, assist our veterans, improve our transportation systems and provide our citizens with high quality, affordable health care.
I am proud to be supported across party lines by Republicans, Democrats and Unenrolled voters who understand that I will support ideas and policies that benefit our city and state, regardless of who proposes them. Although we face difficult economic circumstances in our state and nation, we face them together. And by working together we can create a brighter future for families, our neighbors and our community.
I have lived, worked and volunteered in the City of Beverly my whole life, and would be honored to serve its citizens as your State Representative.
I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns on issues regarding our city, or to join my campaign team.
Sincerely,
